The plane carrying Georgia Wells' husband crashed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Although he was declared dead, his body was never found. Three years later, Georgia spots her husband on a newscast. To uncover the truth about her missing spouse, she travels to the Congo. In one of the most dangerous regions on the planet, she must investigate the plane crash to determine who died, who survived, and why so many secrets and mysteries surround the incident. From the moment she sets foot on African soil, Georgia realizes that powerful forces are willing to do whatever it takes to conceal the facts about the disaster and her husband's disappearance.

Most of the cast most likely appear in the next season. Kate Beckinsale will return as Georgia Wells with Charles Dance as Martin Benson. Together with Alex Kingston (Judith Gray).
