Season 1st of S.O.Z. Soldados o Zombies is almost over on Prime Video but will the Sergio Peris-Mencheta-starring series be returning for season 2?

S.O.Z. Soldados o Zombies creator Nicolas Entel hasn't yet ruled out a season second for the action. If a renewal will be confirmed it will back at August 4, 2023 almost same time. Here’s what we know so far.

We wait practically identical characters to back in the upcoming season. Alonso Marroquín role will be played by actor Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Commandante Rafael Becerril will play a Horacio Garcia Rojas. You should also totally expect to see Fátima Molina as Lilia Acal Prado, Steve Wilcox (Joel Taft) and Toby Schmitz (Agustus Snowman).

The continuing of horror Series will once again be made up of 8 total episodes, that will be available live from Prime Video. Pilot episode starting in August 4, 2023. Series episodes will release on Fridays. Detailed episodes list provided in this table:

The Plot

To avoid extradition, the charismatic and unpredictable drug lord Alonso Marroquin escapes from a Mexican prison to hide in a remote facility located in the middle of the desert. On the U.S. side of the border a U.S. Army experiment with minipigs conducted in a military base goes wrong and the Mexican police unit pursuing Marroquin gets infected, transforming themselves into a new enhanced zombie species with special abilities. The army and this new species converge on Marroquin's hideout where battle for survival will begin.
